Valuing Our Workforce (VOW) is an independent psychosocial and systemic resource working alongside Black, South Asian, and racially minoritised social work practitioners within children's social care across the UK
Through mentoring, supervision, workshops, practice resources, and VOW 3S's© Sponsorship Programme (V3SSP), VOW creates dedicated spaces to think things through, recognise strengths, develop professional identities, and create pathways towards stories of success. Grounded in the principles of modelling, mirroring, and mentoring, VOW works collaboratively with social care organisations to create workplace cultures where practitioners feel seen, heard, and valued
