Confidentiality Statement

VOW is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and reflective space where practitioners feel able to explore workplace dilemmas, challenges, and experiences openly. Conversations within mentoring, supervision, and related services are treated with care, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Information shared during mentoring or supervision sessions will remain confidential unless:

  • there are concerns regarding serious harm to yourself or others,
  • there is a safeguarding concern involving a child or vulnerable adult,
  • unlawful activity is disclosed,
  • or disclosure is otherwise required by law or professional duty.

Where possible, concerns regarding confidentiality will be discussed with the practitioner before any information is shared.

VOW may keep brief confidential records relating to mentoring or supervision sessions for professional and administrative purposes. Any records will be stored securely and handled in accordance with data protection legislation.

Information shared within workshops or group supervision should also be treated respectfully and confidentially by all participants. While VOW encourages confidentiality within group settings, confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed where multiple participants are involved.

VOW is committed to creating reflective spaces grounded in respect, trust, equity, and professional integrity.
